Welcome to my latest newsletter, I hope you are well and were able to make the most of the Summer. As ever, if there is anything I may be able to help with, please do send me an email or give my office a call.

I've been spending recess getting out and about our community - do look out for my round-up next week of everything I've been up to over the Summer!

** I'm Holding Wiltshire's Biggest Careers Fair
------------------------------------------------------------

I’m holding Wiltshire’s biggest Careers Fair on Friday 16 September at the Olympiad Leisure Centre in Chippenham, from 10am-1pm. It’s free to attend and open to all, so please do drop in and share with anyone who might like to come along.

Wiltshire College & University Centre ([link removed]) , Arralis ([link removed]) and Wavin ([link removed]) are kindly sponsoring the event, and will all be running a stand on the day.

You can meet 60+ local employers, find hundreds of vacancies, discover apprenticeships and graduate schemes, ask any questions and get CV advice & digital training - it’s a fantastic opportunity for those of all ages looking to re or upskill, or if you simply fancy a change of career.

Just some of those employers coming include Knorr-Bremse, Siemens, Bath asu, Goughs, Babcock, the Army, Royal Navy, Wiltshire Police, Dorset & Wiltshire Fire Service, HSBC, Wincanton, Chippenham Community Hospital, Wadworth, Waitrose, Specsavers, M&S, and many, many more!

You can find all details here ([link removed]) .

** Have Your Say On Local Healthcare Services
------------------------------------------------------------

I’m running a survey on my website here ([link removed]) for you to share your thoughts and experiences on our local healthcare services, including on GP appointments, A&E wait times, ambulance response times and more.

Our NHS heroes worked tirelessly to support us during the pandemic, and continue to do so, so it’s absolutely right they have the resources and investment they need to treat us.

All of the responses to the survey will help to demonstrate local demand and show where resources are needed. It’s really important that we get as many responses from the community as possible, and from as many of the towns and villages locally so we can get the widest possible picture.

I’ll be taking your thoughts and experiences from the survey results up with the Secretary of State and Ministers in the Department of Health when Parliament returns, as well as the Integrated Care Board, who manage the NHS budget locally.

Please do share with anyone in our community who you think would be interested in having their say and completing the survey.

Thank you for taking the time to read my newsletter. If there is anything I may be able to do to help, please do not hesitate to get in touch.

Best wishes,

Michelle
