Register Now: Analyzing Data from the National Crime Victimization Survey Workshop

Register now for BJS?s workshop on Analyzing Data from the National Crime Victimization Survey (NCVS) at the American Society of Criminology Annual Conference. The workshop will introduce new and potential data users to the types of information available through the NCVS, offer an overview of the survey structure and sample design, and provide hands-on training to assist in properly analyzing the NCVS public-use data. Participants will learn how to?

  • replicate key estimates published through the annual Criminal Victimization bulletin and available through the NCVS Dashboard (N-DASH)
  • analyze the available NCVS supplement data files
  • highlight different types of research questions that can be addressed with the core and supplement data.
