Each year, the Giffords Law Center community comes together to support our work and honor our founding. This year is no exception—the 2022 Anniversary Celebration will take place both virtually and in-person in San Francisco on September 18.

We are thrilled that Senator Chris Murphy will be joining the event to receive our Courageous Leadership Award this year. One of our nation’s hardest-working gun safety champions, Senator Murphy made the passage of the Bipartisan Safer Communities Act—the first major federal gun safety legislation in nearly 30 years—possible. We are so grateful to have him with us in this movement. 

We hope you’ll consider joining Gabby, Senator Murphy, and other special guests on September 18 to help fund our lifesaving work for another year.
