HIGHER EDUCATION LEGAL SERVICES PROJECT LAUNCHES BRAND NEW WEBSITE

The Higher Education Legal Services Project has recently launched findyourally.com to help students, staff, and faculty at California Community Colleges statewide find free immigration legal services and case support on their campuses.

Those in need of immigration legal services can now visit the site and easily find and schedule a free appointment with a legal representative. The new site allows you to schedule an appointment with a simple search by zip code or college name.

Services include:

  • Legal Consultations to Screen for Immigration Relief
  • Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals (DACA) Renewals
  • Family-based petitions
  • Naturalization/Citizenship applications

The website also offers helpful resources on how to prepare for a scheduled appointment, detailing what kind of information and documents one might need to bring and giving a general idea of what questions a legal representative might be able to answer.

The Higher Education Legal Services Project is a California-funded effort to provide FREE immigration legal services to students, faculty, and staff at California Community Colleges. The project brings together trusted legal services providers to offer direct legal support to students, staff, and faculty so they can best assess their unique cases. The project also offers support with DACA filing fees as well as Naturalization application assistance.

In addition to legal services, the Higher Education Legal Services Project also provides education and outreach webinars on immigration topics that are presented in partnership with the Immigrant Legal Resource Center. As part of this new website launch, we will be hosting a webinar on August 31, 2022, from 10 – 11 a.m. The topics covered in this webinar will include more details about the website, how to schedule a no-cost consultation, the types of legal support available, and how to receive financial Assistance for DACA Application renewal.
