We know that times are tough right now. Inflation and prices are unacceptably high, and Americans are struggling.

That’s why Democrats like Congressman Bishop have been working toward solutions to lower prices and help Americans — putting people over politics. All while Republicans are busy playing politics.

Just earlier this month, Democrats passed and signed into law the Inflation Reduction Act of 2022 — without the support of a single Congressional Republican. This historic legislation will place caps on prescription drug price increases, cap the price of insulin, create a 15% corporate tax minimum, and invest $369 billion into climate and energy programs.

It will bring relief to millions of Americans without raising taxes on a single family making less than $400,000.

But if we lose our Democratic House majority, we know that Republicans will try to halt and reverse our progress. At every turn, House Republicans have opposed bill after bill to help Americans.

Republicans are working to flip Congressman Bishop’s seat, take back the U.S. House, and run Congress with their policy of “politics over people.”
