Mitch McConnell just vowed there will be “total coordination” with the White House once the impeachment trial reaches the Senate. Imagine a judge in a normal criminal trial being okay with jurors announcing before opening arguments that they’d be taking orders from the defense attorney -- and then imagine it’s one of the most important trials in history.
McConnell cares more about achieving his hyper-partisan agenda than safeguarding American democracy and strengthening the American people’s faith in our government to check itself before it wrecks itself.
Sadly, we know Mitch doesn’t care what the voters think -- he only cares about continuing his reign of hypocrisy and stonewalling in the Senate. We need to know what Democrats think about Mitch so we can create the best strategy to get rid of him in 2020:
