With the possibility that Brett Kavanaugh’s Supreme Court will gut Roe v.
Wade, the fight for reproductive freedom is moving to the states like
never before. Anti-choice legislators will be more empowered to pass bans
on abortion and shut down clinics, threatening abortion access — already
severely restricted in much of the country — for millions of people.

Every December, we set a year-end fundraising goal, and this year’s
fundraising drive is the most important ever. To support our expanded work
at the state level, we've set an ambitious goal of raising $350,000 by
midnight on Dec. 31 — and we need you to step up to fuel the fight.

We can no longer count on the courts to protect abortion access. So to
defend reproductive freedom, we need to dramatically expand our network of
state-level organizing and policy staff to beat back abortion bans and
pass laws to safeguard reproductive freedom wherever we can.

Over the last year, states have passed a wave of some of the most extreme
abortion restrictions ever, including bans on abortion before many women
even know they’re pregnant.

Why are these attacks happening? Because anti-choice politicians know that
with Brett Kavanaugh and Neil Gorsuch on the Supreme Court, Roe v. Wade is
in trouble. So states run by anti-choice extremists are all racing to be
the first to end the right to access abortion.

On the other hand, states like Illinois and New York have repealed
restrictions on abortion access and passed new laws to protect
reproductive freedom. Thanks to these courageous leaders, states have a
blueprint for how to make sure abortion will be protected, even in a
post-Roe world.

If Roe is gutted by the Supreme Court, these state fights will become more
important than ever, so we’re dramatically expanding our grassroots
organizing team by hiring field organizers in key states like Iowa, Maine,
and Arizona.

In the year ahead, the stakes couldn't be higher for reproductive freedom.
That's why we're aiming to raise $350,000 by midnight on Dec. 31. And for
