I wanted to let you know that I just stepped out of my weekly finance meeting with Colin, and I’ve got to tell you, it was one of the best meetings I’ve ever had.
We went over the numbers and our projections leading up to election day, but Colin also wanted to talk about the last massive midterm election he had to win back in 2018. He talked about how the odds were stacked against so many Democrats all across the country, and how very few people believed he could unseat a 22-year incumbent.
But Colin and Democrats across the country knew that most Americans don’t want representatives who are beholden to one leader of their party. They want to elect folks who will go to Washington to fight for them and for their families.
They want real leaders.
Showing that he would be a real leader for North Texas was how Colin won in 2018, and it’s the reason we feel confident that Democrats can protect our House majority in November.
