Team — I’m really fired up about our new ad, and I wanted to make sure you got a chance to see it. If you haven’t yet, go take an up-close look at what we’re up against this November (and what we’re going to do about it).

The ad is designed to sound the alarm bells about three Trump-endorsed secretary of state candidates who are on the ballot this November and what they’re planning to do with their power if they win. Case in point: Nevada nominee Jim Marchant says that they’re running for secretary of state to ensure Trump loyalists “control the election system.” 

Control the election system! Can you believe they’re saying this stuff out loud for everyone to hear? And if they’re publicly owning up to these anti-democratic plots, just imagine the kinds of things they’re talking about behind closed doors.

We’re putting this ad up to expose exactly what Donald Trump and his cronies are doing — and lay out the plan to stop them.

But here’s the thing: If we want to get real traction here — to make sure voters know what’s at stake this November — we need to up our investments. I’ve always been able to count on your support, so I have to ask: Will you donate right now to help make sure as many people as possible see this ad?

If we don’t get to work to stop them in 2022, these conspiracy theorist candidates are actually going to be in charge of battleground state elections in 2024 — this project can’t wait. Now is the time to kick this work into high gear.
