This year’s Florida Senate race between Rep. Demings and Marco Rubio is looking to be one of the most competitive races in this country. Election predictions are guessing that this race will practically be decided at the last minute. Just look at these polls:

University of North Florida 48-44

Change Research 46-46

Clarity Campaign Labs 45-45

Center Street PAC 41-52

As you can see, the race is incredibly tight. But of these polls, the University of North Florida (UNF) is the most well-known and reputable. They found that Rep. Demings had an advantage over Rubio in their polling, which is a very good sign.

In the last poll from UNF in February, she was trailing behind Rubio by 12 points, but the very fact that she closed that gap since then is a testament to how much Florida Democrats and Independents have embraced her as their candidate. In a deep red state like Florida, she has the competitive edge it takes to win. Rep. Demings is definitely up to the challenge.

Still, we’re down to wire. The election is just around the corner, and we’ve only got a couple months left. We’re certain we can help Rep. Demings take Florida by storm, but we can’t do it alone. We’re going to need every hand on board. If you can pitch in, we’d appreciate it.
