CNN, Bloomberg, and several more major news organizations are reporting that total spending will approach $10 billion over the next few weeks. Outpacing even the 2020 election.

Without a presidential election at the top of the ticket, this record-breaking cash infusion will be concentrated on control of the United States Senate, which is evenly split 50-50 with Democrats’ in the majority due to Vice President Harris’ tie-breaking vote.
