Jeff’s opponent just went on national radio and here’s what he had to say. ͏‌ ͏‌ ͏‌ ͏‌ ͏‌ ͏‌ ͏‌ ͏‌ ͏‌ ͏‌ ͏‌ ͏‌ ͏‌ ͏‌ ͏‌ ͏‌ ͏‌ ͏‌ ͏‌ ͏‌ ͏‌ ͏‌ ͏‌ ͏‌ ͏‌ ͏‌ ͏‌ ͏‌ ͏‌ ͏‌ ͏‌ ͏‌ ͏‌ ͏‌ ͏‌ ͏‌ ͏‌ ͏‌ ͏‌ ͏‌ ͏‌ ͏‌ ͏‌ ͏‌ ͏‌ ͏‌ ͏‌ ͏‌ ͏‌ ͏‌ ͏‌ ͏‌ ͏‌ ͏‌ ͏‌ ͏‌

Friends,

Before you log off for the weekend, I wanted to give you a quick rundown of the current state of our race in North Carolina’s 14th District.

This morning, Jeff’s opponent appeared on Hugh Hewitt’s nationally syndicated radio show.

After attacking Jeff over and over again — all while never mentioning that he’s an assault weapons manufacturer — he encouraged listeners to donate to his campaign, saying:

“This district is truly winnable. It’s not a long shot.”

And he’s right.

We’re building a strong campaign — but if outside groups set their sights on winning this district and fund enough attack ads against Jeff, they could buy the election for our opponent. It’s not a long shot at all.

In competitive races like ours, grassroots support makes all the difference. That’s why I’m asking: With Election Day just 81 days away, can you pitch in now to help us make sure we’re ready?

If you've saved your payment information with ActBlue Express, your donation will go through immediately:

Look, you and I both know that Jeff would rather be meeting with folks around the district and having a substantive conversation about the issues than dealing with political attacks.

With your help, we’ll be able to stay focused on connecting with voters and building a team powerful enough to win in November.

Thanks for everything,

James
