Yesterday the Texas Secretary of State announced that the voter registration deadline in Texas is on October 11th—that means we have 54 days to register as many voters as possible to flip this state.

Ground Game Texas has launched ballot campaigns across the state of Texas. Every day our organizers are registering new voters, putting popular policies on the ballot, and mobilizing the electorate behind progressive change.

Team, we found out this week that since March, Texas has added nearly 300,000 new voters. That’s incredible. But if we want to expand the electorate and mobilize voters to unseat Greg Abbott and pass progressive change, we need a big push in this final stretch.

The state of Texas DOES NOT have universal online voter registration. So it’s on organizations like Ground Game Texas to talk to as many voters as possible to make sure folks get registered.
