We’re not surprised that Donald Trump — a billionaire who came into power by doing the bidding of shadowy players who fill his campaign coffers — endorsed conservative Democrat Dan Goldman, who would become the richest member of the House.
Goldman supports abortion restrictions, has profited from his investments in the gun manufacturer Ruger, and holds stock in Fox News — that’s why Donald Trump endorsed him.
At a time when our fundamental rights are under assault across the country, we need strong progressive champions in Congress and there is no room for Democrats who are endorsed by Donald Trump.
The choice couldn’t be more clear.
