John, In case you missed the news, Governor Mike DeWine recently announced
that 1,183 Ohio schools in 81 counties will receive $47 million in grant
funding to make our schools more safe for our children.

This new money will be used for physical security measures, mental health
support, and local law enforcement support. The governor recently said,
"Helping schools pay for important security improvements is just one component
of our comprehensive school safety approach that also supports the mental
wellbeing of our kids and the work of local law enforcement to prevent crime."

While many Democrats work to defund the police, Republican leaders in Ohio are
putting the safety of our families and communities first. That is just one of
the reasons we are working so hard to re-elect Governor DeWine this November
and will need your help to get there!
