Today is Poll Worker Recruitment Day — a national day of action to recruit poll workers to make sure our elections are safe and fair.

Poll workers are critical in ensuring that our elections run smoothly, by supporting early voting locations, ensuring technology functions properly, and helping minimize delays at voting sites on election day. Poll worker shortages can cause long lines and polling location closures, leading to voter disenfranchisement, especially in Black and brown communities.

That’s why we’re partnering with Power the Polls to recruit more poll workers before the upcoming elections. Can you sign up as a poll worker today?
