We're back in person September 7 & you won't want to miss it!

John,

We're now just three weeks away from our annual Green Tie Awards, when we'll honor environmental champions who have stepped up to protect every North Carolinian's right to clean air, clean water, and clean energy.

The last two years, because of the pandemic, we held virtual Green Tie Awards in October. Well, this year, we're sticking with the fall ... but we'll be back in person!

Will you be there? Click here to find out the details »

And --you are the first to know-- we are tremendously honored to have Dr. Benjamin Chavis, Jr. join us as our keynote speaker. A native North Carolinian and long time civil rights activist, Dr. Chavis coined the term "environmental racism" at the birth of the environmental justice movement in Warren County, protesting the siting of a toxic landfill. And we are still fighting against environmental injustice today -- in our policies, in our politics, and in our communities.

And the Green Tie Awards will honor leaders who have championed the environment and the health of our communities. Stay tuned to be the first to know who our honorees will be this year, too! But you can go ahead and reserve your sponsorship or tickets today, John!

See you September 7!
