Team -- take a look at the latest from the Washington Post:

"Election deniers march toward power in key 2024 battlegrounds"

This terrifying headline is exactly why I started The American SOS Project earlier this year, and it’s exactly why I’m asking for your urgent support right now. Please, rush a donation to support our work to defeat election-denying secretary of state candidates this November:

We have less than three months to defeat candidates in battleground states who are determined not only to spread lies about voter fraud and weaken our election systems, but to do everything they can to put the man who handpicked them -- Donald Trump -- back into power.

Here’s the part of the Washington Post piece that best drives home the urgency:

“A close presidential contest that comes down to the outcome in states where officials are willing to try to thwart the popular will could throw the country into chaos. It would potentially delay the result, undermine confidence in the democratic system and sow the seeds of civil strife on a scale even greater than what the nation saw on Jan. 6, 2021.”

The truth is, if you’re not alarmed by these extreme candidates who are on the ballot this November, you’re not paying attention. And if you’re not willing to take action to stop them now, it could soon be too late.

Our democracy is at stake this November. Will you join The American SOS Project’s fight to protect it by donating whatever you can right now?

We’ll have some big news to share about the future of this organization in the coming days. I’m incredibly energized about this work ahead, but I cannot do this without you.

Thank you for stepping up.

Amy
