Here's one more way to support the movement... even after election time.

Dear John,
?
WV Can't Wait is about more than elections.
?
We also work year round to support West Virginians who are fighting for change in their workplaces, communities, local governments, and in the media. You can support them now with a tax deductible donation to our 501c3 organization, WV Can't Wait, right now at this link.
?
Your tax-free donation will back people like Darrin Lester, one of 41 WV Can't Wait Hometown Heroes. Darrin runs the state's largest ex-offender mutual aid program. He started Olive Tree 8 years ago while serving as an inmate at Mt. Olive. Since then, the program has graduated more than 375 incarcerated people, and helped hundreds more get the help they need when they get out. As a Hometown Hero, Darrin has received a $2000 award, fiscal sponsorship, organizing training, and other services from WV Can't Wait Mutual Aid.
?
Your tax-free donation will back people like Parkersburg City Councilor Wendy Tuck, one of 20 WV Can't Wait elected officials. Through WV Can't Wait Mutual Aid, Wendy (and other elected officials) gets to participate in our annual governance training, policy and media support, monthly workshops with other city counselors, and access to our Movement Safety Fund.
?
Your tax-free donation will back people like Nicole McCormick, who is one of 6 WV Can't Wait organizer apprentices. Nicole was a statewide leader in the 2018 and 2019 educators strike movement, and is now working to build a lasting educators caucus in West Virginia. As an organizer apprentice, Nicole receives access to coaching, fundraising support, in-depth year-round organizing training, and a no-strings-attached $30,000 award to support her work.
?
Your tax-free donation will back people like support people like Crystal Good, publisher of Black By God, one of 11 WV Can't Wait Citizen Media makers. Our allied media makers receive a sponsorship of $700 to support their work, organizing training, help boosting stories, access to media tools, a monthly workshop alongside other citizen journalists, and -- like all of the folks above -- access to WV Can't Wait's mental health program when needed.
?
To support Wendy, Crystal, Darrin, Nicole and dozens of other West Virginians who are taking power into their own hands, please consider making a tax deductible donation to WV Can't Wait Mutual Aid at this link: https://donorbox.org/wv-can-t-wait-mutual-aid-2. If you prefer sending a check, you can send to WV Can't Wait Mutual Aid / 403 King Ave / Fayetteville, WV 25840. Elections are important. But these funds are also crucial to support our work, our leaders, and our staff year round.
?
Thanks in advance,
?

PS We also appreciate your on-going support of our electoral work, through the WV Can't Wait Action Committee. Those donations are not tax-deductible, but they are crucial. If you have any questions about where your dollars are going or how you can make the biggest impact, just reply to this message and ask. We would welcome the chance to hop on the phone.
