It’s World Elephant Day, and we have some mammoth news to share!

Born Free has been protecting elephants in Amboseli, at the foot of Mount Kilimanjaro, for decades, and we are delighted to announce the birth of 91 calves in the last year! Along with our partners, the Amboseli Trust for Elephants, we are keeping a close eye on them – especially in light of the severe drought affecting the Horn of Africa.

So, today, on World Elephant Day, will you help us look after them by adopting the world-famous EB elephant family in Amboseli? Your adoption will have a massive impact on the herd and their new arrivals, who need all the help they can get. It can:

• Prevent elephants being poached and killed for their ivory

• Support ranger patrols that will monitor and protect elephants
• Encourage co-existence amongst local communities and overcome human-elephant conflict

Your support, this World Elephant Day, would mean the world to the elephants of Amboseli.
