With 90 days until the election, I need to ask you for a considerable favor. 

We need to canvass towns in all four corners of the state, but right now, our volunteer signups for door knocking aren’t as high as we need them to be.

So, my team worked out a cool system that’s easy for anyone to set up, and I’m hoping I can count on you to help us knock on doors in your neighborhood. You won’t be talking to total strangers – they’re people who live just down the street.

You’ll start by downloading an app onto your phone called “MiniVAN.” You’ll create an ID and then need to plug in a list number that Team Kelly will provide you.

This will use your location – wherever you are in Arkansas – to let you door knock in your area.

Door knocking is a massive part of campaigning, and I know it can be intimidating! Don’t stress – we’ve made it as easy as possible. (You can check out this video where I lay out just how simple organzing is!)

Most of the time, you’ll knock on a door, and no one will answer, so we just ask that you leave behind a piece of campaign literature, so people know we tried to reach them with an election reminder.

If someone does answer, you just tell them who you are: a volunteer for Kelly Krout for Arkansas who lives in their neighborhood. They might tell you they aren’t interested or don’t have time to talk – you can just say okay and wish them a good day.

Other people on your list might have a question like, “What does Kelly think about teacher pay?” (I *absolutely* support teacher pay raises.)

And before you get worried – you don’t have to know my position on the issues. My platform is laid out right on the piece of campaign literature that you’ll be passing out. You can reference it when you reply or just hand it to the person at the door for them to check out themselves. 

My team and I will ensure you’ve got everything you need to succeed at the doors AND have fun.

Knocking on doors really is just talking to our neighbors – and these personal, one-on-one conversations are how we win this race. Seriously, this is the *ultimate* if everyone does a little, no one has to do a lot. So, can I count on you to sign up to volunteer with my campaign to talk to people on your block?

Just think of the impact we can make if every person reading this email who lives in Arkansas talked to 15-20 people. That would be a massive impact – and help us show Arkansans that they have a chance to vote for change in November.

We absolutely CAN and WILL win when we step up to run for office, mobilize, message effectively, and talk to our neighbors and voters across the state.
