Founding father Benjamin Franklin wrote in 1755, “Those who would give up essential Liberty, to purchase a little temporary Safety, deserve neither Liberty nor Safety.”
This past weekend, the Senate voted to fund 87,000 additional IRS agents as part of their massive $745 billion spending package. This doubling of the number of agents to harass and intimidate Americans will result in a million more tax audits every year.
Over 75% of IRS' audits in 2021 were conducted on Americans making less than $200,000 per year. Worse yet, over 50% of those audited made under $75,000 per year. If the Democrats ram thru this spending package, Biden's army of auditors is coming for YOU.
The Democrats and their allies in the IRS know that middle-income Americans cannot afford to hire expensive tax lawyers to fight them. They operate from a presumption of guilt, with the burden of proof falling on you to demonstrate your innocence. And, they expect you to pay up.
Even more concerning, just two days ago, FBI agents stormed President Trump’s private residence in an unprecedented action against a former president. These third-world, police-state, tactics were a chilling demonstration of the battle we are facing for our country.
The political weaponization of this federal government against its citizens continues to escalate. The Biden Administration believes the greatest threat to America is…AMERICANS! The attacks from the IRS, the FBI and Justice Department are all aimed one way.
Hillary Clinton destroyed 30,000 classified emails when the Select Committee on Benghazi issued a subpoena for relevant and material emails, but the Justice Department did nothing about that. Today’s FBI is the same organization that falsified FISA warrants and knowingly lied to the American people to perpetuate the Russia “collusion” hoax.
Today’s FBI is the same organization that protected Hunter Biden and “the big guy” when his laptop documenting pay-for-play schemes was uncovered just prior to the 2020 election. The politicized FBI and DOJ colluded with big tech and the news media to censor stories and suspend accounts for reporting the truth.
They now say they have “no comment” on this week’s FBI raid of President Trump's home. Well, I have questions, along with millions of other Americans.
These consequences of the 2020 election should not surprise us, as absolute power corrupts absolutely. DC Democrats continue to use their control of the House, Senate, and White House to make us look more like the oppressive surveillance states in China, Cuba and Venezuela, instead of the land of the free.
I am joining those calling on FBI Director Christopher Wray and Attorney General Merrick Garland to be brought in front of the House Judiciary Committee on Friday, if not sooner. They must try to explain their indefensible actions, and persuade us that their agencies should not be dismantled if the American people give us the power to do so.
