I'm in between events, helping my team knock on doors around Pinellas County today, but this couldn't wait.

Here's the deal, folks – I have a quick question for you. What do you think a Republican-controlled Congress would do first?

I've been scared of this idea for a long time, and the answers are some of the reasons why I'm so determined to win this race in November. You could pick so many things from the right-wing priority list.

Banning abortions. Stopping any hope of action on climate change. Letting corporations price gouge our hard-earned savings. Ending Social Security and Medicare. Each one of their policy promises would devastate the lives of millions of Americans. We can't let that happen.

I don't like asking, JOHN, but my finance director is telling us we may not have enough funds to get our message out to win this race.
