JACKSON, Ga. – Today, the Georgia Chamber of Commerce, the state's leading business advocacy organization, endorsed Burt Jones for Lieutenant Governor. As a sixth-generation Georgia native and small business owner, Burt works with his family business, Jones Petroleum, as well as JP Capital & Insurance, a risk management company specializing in retail insurance brokerage. As a State Senator, Burt has been a champion for job creation and economic development, and will work with the Chamber as Lieutenant Governor to continue making Georgia the number one state to do business. This endorsement by the Georgia Chamber marks their first ever in an open race for Lieutenant Governor in Georgia.
