Arizona has been called "ground zero" when it comes to recent voter suppression efforts. Fortunately, Arizonans are fighting back with a new ballot prop called the Arizona Fair Elections Act.

The Arizona Fair Elections Act is a ballot initiative that aims to safeguard the right to vote, outlaw unofficial election audits, bolster citizen initiatives and referendums, expand the state's public campaign finance system and limit the influence wealthy donors have on campaigns.

In the past two years, Arizona state lawmakers have been pushing to limit who can vote and how. They’ve worked to kick people off permanent early voting lists, made it easier for election officials to remove voters from the rolls and are asking voters to diminish their power by requiring ballot measures get 60% majorities to pass.

So it should come as no surprise that, this November, Arizona will have candidates up and down the ballot who deny the legitimacy of the 2020 election and only want to further restrict voting rights in Arizona.

We cannot let them take away our right to vote that easily! If approved by the voters, the Arizona Fair Elections Act would represent a sea change in Arizona election laws. It would bolster and protect the voting rights of Arizonans against those in power.
