Then: Radical lawmakers across 19 states passed voter suppression laws, and Kennedy didn’t do a thing but defend these un-American laws in Washington.

Now: Congressional action is the only way to protect our right to vote. But self-serving politicians like Kennedy have done nothing but oppose historic voting rights bills, including the For the People Act and John Lewis Voting Rights Act.

In short: Our democracy is in danger, and Kennedy is part of the problem.
