john,

Did you know that Tony Gonzales has accepted $6,000 from the NRA?

I asked my team to look further into Tony’s fundraising reports, and you know, I wish I could say I was surprised.

Tony Gonzales is officially in the pocket of the NRA.

Can you make a $10 donation to my campaign now so we can be prepared and fight back against whatever attacks he has planned leading up to the election? We need ALL the support possible because we know the NRA and other big-money GOP backers are funding his campaign. But this is the most flippable seat in Texas, and we’re not shying away from a fight. [[link removed]]

Our opponent is a rubber stamp for the NRA who admitted to checking with his gun manufacturer buddies before voting NO on a gun safety bill in the House. He’s a top 10 recipient of gun lobby donations in the House. He even admitted to using the exact language from the gun lobby when he talked about the issue.

And look, as a former Marine who has had the safety training before carrying a weapon into combat, I support the Second Amendment.

But he checked with the gun lobby instead of the parents of Uvalde.

That’s right. This vote happened after the Uvalde school shooting, and Tony still chose the gun lobby over the grieving parents in his own district.

Now that we know who is funding Tony’s campaign and making decisions for him, can you donate $10 or more to my campaign to help me flip this seat? This race is going to be incredibly expensive, and it’s critical that we are prepared for what comes next.
