Last Monday, District 30's next Congressman, Dr. James Rodgers, had the pleasure of being invited onto The Young Turks to discuss Education Reform. As a former educator and father of two, this has been a critical issue and area of focus for the campaign.
American literacy is falling because of failed policies such as high-stake standardized testing, hidden curricula, overcrowded schools, and lack of parental involvement caused by bloated bureaucratic mismanagement and Radical Leftist activism.
Republicans, Democrats, and Independents all agree that there is a problem here, they just differ on a solution. Dr. Rodgers is dedicated to pursuing common sense Education Reform to ensure access to quality education for EVERY child!
Perennially failing schools do not own our children. Families of all backgrounds deserve an education that prepares their children to be successful citizens in the future who are free of indoctrination!
