Hi Jack,

Arkansas Democrats just announced the Raising Arkansas’s Investment in Schools and Educators (RAISE) Act.

The RAISE Act would use part of Arkansas’s $1.6 billion budget surplus to increase teacher pay from $36,000 to $42,000.

I’m the daughter of a public school teacher and mom of kids in our public school system. I believe teachers and support staff are crucial to quality education, better jobs, and safer communities – and they deserve adequate pay for their vital work.

This weekend, I’m going to be in Little Rock at the Pay AR Teachers Block Party and Rally to advocate for our teachers, but first, I want to know where you stand on the issue. Will you take our quick survey now?

Do AR teachers deserve a raise?

Yes »

No »

Thanks a bunch for your time today and for participating in surveys like this one.

-Kelly
