John --

We did it.

In just a little over a month, our campaign turned in over 5,000 signatures to the Board of Elections to qualify for the ballot. Despite being the last candidate to join the race, we are the first to turn in more than 1.5 times the amount of signatures needed to guarantee my name appears on the ballot on November 8, 2022.

We have an important fundraising deadline coming up next week. Can you please chip in today and help us build even more momentum going into this weekend of canvassing and outreach? <[link removed]>

Over the past month, our campaign has touched every corner of the city. We are having serious conversations with residents on public safety, economic inclusion, social justice, and quality of life here in the District. We are only just getting started but already feel our movement growing every step of the way.

We need leaders with a track record of taking on our city's toughest challenges and delivering meaningful results to ensure every resident has the opportunity to thrive in our city.

I am ready to continue delivering on the Council for you and every resident in the city that has raised me and my family. I hope you can support our growing movement today <[link removed]> and ensure residents have a champion on the Council for an equitable, safe, and prosperous tomorrow.
