It’s simple, folks:

Decisions about reproductive care are deeply personal. They should be made by women in consultation with their loved ones and their doctor. They should not be made by politicians. This week, the people of Kansas delivered that message — loud and clear. They defeated a constitutional amendment that would have allowed abortion to be banned.

In November, it’s our turn in North Carolina.

We must elect representatives who will defend women’s reproductive freedoms. Access to reproductive health care is on the ballot this fall — and every election after that. I’m working to help elect pro-choice candidates up and down the ballot in North Carolina this November and beyond, but I’m counting on your help in this fight: [[link removed]]

As North Carolina’s Attorney General, I will do everything in my power to protect the right to reproductive care — because it’s the right thing to do, and it’s because it’s necessary to create the kind of North Carolina we all want: one where people want to live, support their families, ensure their kids get a good education. One where businesses want to invest and grow, and where their employees and our economy can thrive.

In Kansas, North Carolina, and across the country, our freedoms are on the line this fall. We cannot forget that — and we must vote accordingly.

I promise to stay in this fight alongside each of you.

— Josh
