Mail Our Way To The Midterms

Political research has shown that positive, personal messages mailed from voters to voters can increase voter turnout. That's why today we are excited to launch our #MailOurWayToTheMidterms postcard writing program!

Writing postcards is a creative and fun way to make a difference in the upcoming election and mobilize not only voters but also engage the people close to you to help write postcards too! Studies have even shown that postcards can be just as effective at turning out voters as canvassing or phone banking.

Our goal is to reach 200,000 voters with postcards by the November Midterms. Will you help us Flip the South and sign up to get a package of postcards to write to our targeted voters in Texas, Georgia, Florida, and North Carolina?

Working with DFA members and local DFA groups from across the nation to mobilize people of color, young and infrequent voters, the Mail Our Way to the Midterms Project will fight to Flip the South by engaging voters that are too often forgotten and left behind. After these voters get a postcard from you our text-out-the-vote team will follow up with a get-out-the-vote text as well, increasing the chances that these voters will turn out even more by making two contacts with them.

We have an ambitious goal of reaching 200,000 voters by the November Midterms. Please help get us one step closer by signing up to send postcards to voters across the South right now.

We are targeting these Southern states because we know that they can flip when we invest enough resources to make it possible.

In fact, the South has only been a Republican stronghold for so long because Democratic candidates and organizations aren’t talking to potential voters who could turn out if someone reaches out to them. I’m talking about young voters and Black and Brown voters that make up the New American Majority.
