We are in a moment of crisis in this country and beyond, one which we, as people of faith and moral conscience, must reflect on and address. We face a real and stark choice between the politics of Jesus and anti-Christ politics that are rooted not in Christ’s message of love, but in violence, fear, and hatred of the other.

• We are changing the narrative through the launch of SojoAction, a visionary mobilizing platform dedicated to equipping faith leaders, activists, and their communities with the resources they need to build sustainable and intersectional justice movements.

• We are demanding, through our Lawyers & Collars Voter Engagement and Protection Program, that all citizens have a right to a free and fair vote. A multiracial, faith-inspired effort designed to protect and expand access to voting by pairing clergy and legal professionals at the polls, Lawyers & Collars launched in 2018 and is expanding for the 2020 elections.

• We are supporting faith leaders on the ground, particularly Latinx and African American pastors, as they tackle critical justice issues present in their ministry contexts — xenophobia, anti-immigration policies, and racialized policing — through our Thriving in Ministry program.

• We are educating seminaries and faith leaders on how to address and combat domestic and sexual violence in their congregations and communities, through resources like our “100 Sermons” series and “Broken Silence” studies.
