In November of 2007, I found my career while attending the first ever Power Shift convergence.
Today, I’m on PSN’s Board of Directors and have made a career in environmental policy.
Power Shift 2007 showed me my future when I, along with thousands of other youth climate activists, marched, rallied, and lobbied in Washington D.C. (that's me in front of the U.S. Capitol) to demand action on the climate crisis. It was there that I was introduced to the world of lobbying and grassroots organizing.
I learned that nothing was going to advance on climate action unless we fought for it. It gave me the skills, knowledge, and confidence to fight everyday.
This is why I am asking you to make a donation to help support Power Shift Network as we plan the next Power Shift in 2021. Each contribution will be matched, dollar-for-dollar up to $10,000, effectively doubling your impact on the movement.

The next convergence will take place within the first 100 days of the next presidential inauguration and it is crucial that we continue to provide a place to onramp budding organizers who want to expand their knowledge and hone their skills after the 2020 Get Out The Vote efforts.
My deepest wish is that Power Shift 2021 changes young activists’ lives the way that Power Shift 2007 did for me and I hope they are able to find their purpose and calling in this movement.
