Today, the Supreme Court upheld a law requiring Kentucky abortion providers to perform an ultrasound, show it to the patient no matter their wishes, AND play audio of the fetal heartbeat. No exceptions, not even for cases of rape and incest.
It’s simply cruel. And it happened because anti-choice justices now have a 5-4 majority, thanks to Susan Collins’ critical vote to confirm Brett Kavanaugh.
Despite Kavanaugh’s far-right rulings, Collins still says she doesn’t regret her vote to confirm him. If you chip in now, we can make sure we replace her in the Senate:
