I wanted to send you an email reflecting on last night’s debate — but here’s the most important thing you need to know: I’m not afraid to roll up my sleeves and get my hands dirty. That’s what sets me apart in this race.

We need to start playing offense by addressing the root of our problems - be it the high cost of health care and lack of investment in quality foods, the lack of good-paying jobs thanks to outsourcing and corporate greed or the failure of our leaders to ensure equal opportunities for all Americans — be them black, white, brown, gay, straight or working-class people.
