Hello John,
When I ran for City Council in 2016, political insiders didn’t give me a chance.

Then, we did so well in the primary, my opponent dropped out of the race before the general election.

When I entered the race for Mayor, the establishment (again) quickly lined up behind my Democratic opponent. 

Now, with an establishment Republican in the race, the Union-Tribune has summed up the campaign pretty well:

  1. Gloria and Sherman will rely on party endorsements and City Hall insider support,
  2. Bry has the independence to shake up City Hall and move past partisan politics.

BOTH partisan candidates will be targeting me in the primary because they don't want to face a strong and independent woman in the general election!

So, with the primary just 3 months away, I need your support now more than ever.

Political Contributions are not tax deductible for income tax purposes. City ordinance permits only personal contributions of $1,150.00 per individual, per election. Spouses or domestic partners may write a separate check or may write one check signed by both if both spouses are authorized on the checking account.
