At a time when the community is under threat and facing a wave of abhorrent attacks, I have been honored and humbled by the support of the Palm Beach County Human Rights Council Voters Alliance . As Florida’s oldest organization fighting for equal rights for the LGBTQ+ community, they have been on the frontline fighting for equality in housing, public accommodation, county employment, and more.

As we face a post-Roe world, the work of national organizations like Her Bold Move to elevate pro-choice women leaders is absolutely essential and I am honored to have their support. They know I will continue to stand up to extremists and support reproductive freedom as I have throughout my life.

And amid the senseless gun violence plaguing our communities that requires real action like banning assault weapons and high-capacity magazines, it’s an honor to earn the Moms Demand Action Gun Sense Candidate Distinction .
