Dear John,

There’s not a lot of time left before my July fundraising deadline tomorrow night at midnight, and truthfully, we’re falling short of our monthly fundraising goals.

The GOP has already begun putting their dark money into action with attack ads against me. And John, we know their onslaught of baseless attacks throughout this election season is just beginning.

If we want to be able to fend off these attacks, then we have to meet this moment and this fundraising goal.
