We want to talk to you about something happening right under the noses of Virginians.

Since the moment Glenn Youngkin entered the Governor’s Mansion, he has declared it his mission to reform our education system here in Virginia. But we’re not talking positive changes to better set up our children for success, John; we’re talking political, discriminatory changes that aim to dissociate Virginia from its own history, calling the teachings of our nation’s past reliance on slavery “divisive.”

Our very slim majority in the Senate has so far been able to stop Youngkin from enacting his horrific agenda. But Youngkin may have found a loophole – he’s using his executive power to appoint leaders to state boards across Virginia, including those in charge of education policies.

Youngkin thinks he can pull a fast one on us and ignore Democrats’ calls for him to stop his schemes to upend our education system. We refuse to let him get away with it.

We must expand our Democratic majority in the state Senate to make sure Youngkin’s harmful agenda never becomes a reality. We know Hala is the person for the job, but she needs your help.
