We’re celebrating by committing to keep the fight going. Next on the list? South Dakota where 42,000 people stand to gain access if we win our campaign this November.

Friend: 57 years ago today, President Lyndon B. Johnson signed Medicaid into law and famously said while doing so: “I'll spend the goddamn money! I may cut back on tanks – but not on health.”

And since then, time and again, Americans have made their voices loud and clear: When it comes to our health care, we aren’t messing around. That’s why since our founding, Fairness Project has organized and acted time and again to expand Medicaid state-by-state. Because life-saving health care can’t wait.

Now, we’re taking this fight to South Dakota in November, but we need to know that we have your full support, friend. If you have our back, will you chip in now in honor of Medicaid’s birthday and to show your support for our 2022 Medicaid campaigns?

Friend, since 1965, Medicaid has delivered health care to more than 80 million Americans!! But our fight can’t stop there. Since 2016, we've successfully expanded Medicaid to over 875,000 Americans in blue, purple, and red states!

So today, we’re celebrating Medicaid’s 57th birthday by committing to keep the fight going. Next on the list? South Dakota where 42,000 people stand to gain access if we win our campaign this November. But only if we win, friend.

In honor of Medicaid’s birthday and this powerfully important fight, will you show your support for our work to expand life-saving health care with a donation today?

If you've saved your payment information with ActBlue Express, your donation to the Fairness Project will go through immediately:
$5 $25
$57 $100
$250 Other

Thanks, friend.
