Team, this is a long email, but we promise it's worth reading.

This week, Betty's primary opponent released a video on social media titled Where's Betty? In the video, Betty's opponent is filmed by her DC-based consultants wandering around empty streets, parks, and our campaign office parking lot pretending to "look" for Betty.

Let's see if we can help. Our office neighbors said they noticed some strange activity in the parking lot recently, so we decided to look at the security footage. Sure enough, Betty's opponent was hanging around outside our office building. Her political consultants stand waiting for the perfect moment to film her stunt:

Note the date the security footage was captured. So, the question is: Where was Betty on Saturday, July 9? 

Just look on Facebook! On Saturday, July 9th, Betty was doorknocking on the Eastside of St. Paul with Liz Lee, our DFL-endorsed candidate running for MN House District 67A. Here they are ready to hit the doors:

Team, those who know Betty won’t be surprised to learn that she was out talking to neighbors with a fellow DFL-endorsed candidate on a Saturday in July. They also won’t be surprised to learn that her work in Washington didn't slow down.

While our opponent was taking selfies for social media, Congresswoman McCollum was … doing her job! Betty was delivering for 4th District families and Minnesota. Here is some of what Betty’s accomplished recently:

- Betty passed her bill out of the Natural Resources Committee that permanently protects the Boundary Waters Canoe Area Wilderness (H.R. 2794).

- Betty voted for and helped pass the Women’s Health Protection Act of 2022 to guarantee the right to abortion as essential healthcare in federal law.

- Betty helped pass a bill out of the House to permanently protect LGBTQ+ marriage equality.

- Betty advanced $35 million in new community projects to make the Fourth Congressional District stronger, safer, and more successful!

- Betty is hard at work while her opponent creeps around in empty parking lots. Who do you trust to fight for you in Congress?

Team, the choice is clear. Betty's opponent has a massive war chest of national money she's using to blanket the airwaves with dishonest attack ads distorting Betty's record.

Our last end-of-month deadline before the August 9th primary is this Sunday, July 31. If we don't raise the $13,621 we need to hit our budget target by then, we will not be able to make digital advertising buys for the final stretch.
