Team,

This isn't the news I was hoping to share with you, but I need to be honest: July has been a tough month for our fundraising program and we are caught in a summer slump. Let me explain:

July tends to be one of the slowest months for fundraising across campaigns, and historically, many candidates have a tough time building the infrastructure they need to get voters to the polls in November.

But we can't accept that to be the reality for a seat as important as this one.

We are just days away from our critical end-of-month deadline on Sunday, and we cannot afford this summer slump. Coming up short of our goals will not only set us back in fundraising, but will jeopardize our ability to get out the vote all across our district.

Will you help combat our summer slump and make a contribution to Robert’s campaign? We need your help to build the infrastructure of this campaign and meet our end-of-month fundraising goals. [[link removed]]

I know many Americans are struggling right now. With inflation and higher costs, along with growing fears of losing reproductive and LGTBQ+ rights, it can be tough to see a silver lining in politics.

And it’s no secret that we need to get out the vote for every Democratic candidate we can this November with the House and Senate majorities being razor thin.

But Robert can be the one vote in the House that can push us towards progress. Robert can be our silver lining. He can be a new voice fighting in Washington for folks like you, me, and families all across the country.

So: Can you please make a contribution — of whatever you can afford — to this grassroots campaign? Robert needs all the resources possible to win this seat. [[link removed]]

When you decide to contribute today — whether that be $5, $10, or $100 — you’ll know that your money is going straight to work.

July has been a tough month, but with you by our side, I am confident we will be able to raise the money and resources we need to surpass our end-of-month goals and send Robert to Congress this November.

Onwards,

Patrick Swymer
