Texas is supposed to be a free state where leaders represent their voters – not a place where billionaires can overrule the people and push unpopular plans into law.

But don’t take my word for it; Republican State Senator Kel Seliger said this about the time he tried to oppose the billionaires who fund his party: “It is a Russian-style oligarchy, pure and simple...Really, really wealthy people who are willing to spend a lot of money to get policy made the way they want it – and they get it.”

These radical billionaire donors have bankrolled a draconian abortion ban, voter suppression that targets minority communities, weakened public schools, and peddled dangerous conspiracy theories about guns and stolen elections. And, right now, they are pouring money into the midterms to try to seize even more power.
