Team, my first run for U.S. Congress in 2006 feels like it was
both yesterday and a lifetime ago. Check out some rarely-seen photos from
   the archives:

Times have changed, but the reason I ran for Congress and am now running
for Senate is the same. I remain in this fight because I’m committed to
helping working- and middle-class families across Vermont and the country,
and we’ve got much more work to do.
My primary election is just over a week away, and winning next Tuesday
would be a major step towards becoming Vermont’s next Senator and holding
on to the Democratic majority. [ [link removed] ]Sunday is the final end-of-month
deadline before the primary. Can you donate $5 to help build on our
   momentum heading into August?

Since heading to Congress, I’ve been in the thick of many fights, and I’ve
experienced my share of ups and downs—but that’s never stopped me from
working to deliver real, progressive solutions for Vermonters. I’m proud
to be known as someone who gets things done, because that’s the mindset
I’d bring to a Senate too often mired in gridlock.
I remember when Mitch McConnell explicitly said his job was to undercut
any and everything President Obama proposed, and lo and behold: He’s
running back that same playbook with President Biden in 2022. He’s causing
enough damage to our country and our democracy as the Minority Leader—we
simply can’t let him get the gavel back. He wants to flip Vermont’s Senate
seat, but together we're not going to let that happen, and I hope you’re
   with me.
The first step toward winning in November and keeping the Senate blue is
winning the August 9 primary—and we’ve got to hit our July fundraising
goals if we’re going to reach as many voters as possible. [ [link removed] ]Please, make
a $5 contribution or anything you can give ahead of Sunday’s end-of-month
   deadline.
Thanks again for all you do,
   Peter
