Earlier this year, Assemblymember Buffy Wicks introduced a game-changing housing bill to the State Legislature.

AB 2011 fastracks new affordable housing on land zoned for commercial uses and includes strong provisions for affordability, labor standards, and environmental protection.

If passed, this bill will legalize the construction of millions of naturally-affordable homes throughout California, while promoting climate-friendly development on sites close to jobs and transit – and ensuring construction workers have good pay and health benefits.
