We want to hear your views, friend. Do you think that assisted dying should be legal in the UK?
Hi Friend,
Welcome to the campaign for Dignity in Dying and thank you for signing our petition recently. You've joined thousands of others who think dying people should have choice at the end of their life. We're delighted to have you on board.
As Dignity in Dying's newest supporter, we'd love to hear your views on assisted dying and our campaign to get it legalised. Your answers will help shape our strategy, so if you've got a couple of minutes spare to answer a few quick questions that would be hugely valuable. Here's question one:
Do you think that assisted dying should be legal for terminally ill, mentally competent adults in the UK?
Together, with our supporters, Dignity in Dying has been campaigning for a sensible, compassionate assisted dying law for decades. At first, we were ridiculed. Now, 82% of the public agrees that terminally ill people across the UK should have the choice to die peacefully and with dignity (1). We've made huge progress - but there's still a long way to go. You can help us get there.
Take our short survey now - it only takes two minutes. Here's question one again:
Do you think that assisted dying should be legal for terminally ill, mentally competent adults in the UK?
Thanks for sharing your views. To change the law and end unnecessary suffering for thousands of people, as many of us as possible need to raise our voices.
We're glad to have you with us, friend.
