There was a New York Times story that stood out to me the other day that I wanted to share with you.

It describes the shameful harassment and attacks directed at the women who had bravely came forward to testify to the January 6 Committee about their experiences on that dark day and leading up to it.

Shame on those who slink in the shadows and hide in anonymity while attacking the character of these young women. I ask them, have you no decency?

These women have taught us a lesson on the need to stand up even when we know how difficult it will be. We need more of this in America.

You may have heard that former President Trump was in D.C. this week to give a "policy speech," but as we've come to expect, it was just a dark, divisive political message that offered no real solutions or hope. Watch my remarks on TV about it here:

The 2024 presidential election is a long way away, but regardless who the candidates end up being, I'm certain that most Americans want leaders who can articulate policy and offer a hopeful, forward-looking vision for America.

I know that you agree with me, and that's why it's so important that we continue to speak up and speak out about what we want from our elected leaders.
