John,
After last week's ruling by the 11th Circuit Court, HB 481 — the restrictive abortion ban that I fought hard against in 2019 — is now in effect. There is now widespread fear and confusion among Georgians about who might be prosecuted, and when people can choose to end a pregnancy.

My opponent Chris Carr knew this when he defended the law and urged the Supreme Court to overturn Roe v. Wade. From the start, Carr has used his platform to advocate for policies that criminalize women and doctors for the most personal of healthcare decisions. Carr has played politics with people's lives and rights, and we need to make sure he pays the price at the ballot box come November.

To sustain the resources to take him on, we need to raise $7,958 more before July 31. So John, will you donate $10 as soon as possible? We're just three days away from our end-of-month deadline, and every bit of support makes a big difference.

Thank you,

Democratic State Senator Jen Jordan (pronounced Jer-Dun) has spent her legal career fighting for Georgians. Because of her real-life experience in the courtroom and out of it, Jen knows that now, more than ever, we need an Attorney General who will take a stand and fight for the rights of each and every Georgian.
