MEET THE CLASS

We are on pace to more than double our highest candidate recruitment year. Our candidates come from all walks of life, from all backgrounds and lived experiences.

Of our July class of 66 candidates:

Run for Something July 2022 Endorsement Stats. Offices: Education 12%, State Legislature 61%, Municipal 21%, Legal 6%. Demographics: Women or Non-Binary 45%, People of Color 41%, LGBTQIA+ 24%. Other Statistics: Disabled or Neurodivergent 18%, Veteran 9%, Parent 35%, First Generation American 11%.

And they're all on the front lines ready to create real, lasting change.

This endorsement class includes folks like Maurice Imhoff, a local historian who, if elected, would be the youngest representative ever in the Michigan legislature and the first person of color to represent Jackson.

And Wichie Artu, a queer, Puerto Rican-born community organizer and organic farmer.

And Yvette Romer, social worker and daughter of a working-class Mexican family who, if elected, would be the first-ever Latina on the Granite School Board in Utah.
